Pick a song that you know well (or simply really enjoy)
and would like to share with/teach to the class.
· Find the lyrics, print them out, and complete the worksheet I passed out in class. The lyrics and the worksheet are due Monday!

Be prepared to teach the song – point out any of the poetic techniques we’ve been
studying – metaphors, similes, personification, hyperbole, rhyme, rhytm – and
lead a discussion on the overall meaning of the song.
Please be sure to pick a song that will be appropriate to
share with the class – that means, no fine-able language or violent subject
matter.
